Important things to know (Anytime Unlimited)

This offer is only available to residential customers who have signed up to an AAPT 2-in-1 bundle.

If you terminate the Anytime Unlimited product that is part of your 2-in-1 bundle, the 2-in-1 bundle discount will no longer apply and standalone monthly internet access fees will apply.

If you terminate the internet component of your 2-in-1 bundle, the 2-in-1 bundle discount will no longer apply and the standalone Anytime Unlimited monthly fees (as set out below) will apply.

  • AAPT's Standard Form of Agreement applies.
  • This plan isn't available with any other home phone offer, plan or discounts.
  • You must have credit approval to set up a new account.
  • 190 calls have a spending limit of $550 per calendar month for each home phone service you have.
  • This plan isn't available on ISDN or digital data services.
  • Timed calls are charged in 30 second increments.
  • An ACT Government tax is applied on all fixed line phone services located within the ACT and Jervis Bay, New South Wales. This levy is applied by the ACT Government and may be increased at any time by them. As of 1 July 2010 the amount is $2.22 per fixed line phone service per month. The amount of this tax may change in the future and any changes will be passed on to you without notification.

Term

Contract term: 24 month minimum contract term.

Pro rated early termination fee up to: $299. If you terminate your contract before the agreed end date, a pro rated early termination fee will apply for the months remaining on your term contract. A change to your selected home phone plan (except where you change to another AAPT home contract plan) will be treated as a termination of your contract. Where you upgrade or downgrade your AAPT home phone contract, you will be required to begin a new 24 month contract.

Minimum commitment for standalone home phone with residential line rental is:

35c per minute any time, plus 39c connection per call.
International calls

$1.98 max per call for calls up to 30 minutes, to 15 countries. Calls to mobiles outside the USA and Canada aren't included.

Installation charges Telephone line connection: a working telephone socket exists from a previous connection and a Telstra technician is not required to visit the customer's property or premises. $59.00
Telephone line connection with a technician visit: a previous telephone service existed at the customer's premises and a Telstra technician is required to visit the customer's property/premises to reconnect existing suitable cable in the following places:
  • Non business services: at the distributor and/or the first socket;
  • Business services: at the Main Distribution Frame (MDF) or, first socket where no MDF exists.

New telephone line connection with a technical visit and cabling work required: a previous telephone service existed at the customer's premises and a Telstra technician is required to visit the premises to install and/or work on the cabling:
  • Non Business services: up to the first socket in your premises;
  • Business services: up to the Main Distribution Frame (MDF) or, first socket where no MDF exists.
